General Venue Information
What is The Legacy at Wrenwood Ranch?
The Legacy at Wrenwood Ranch is an elegant event venue designed for weddings and special gatherings. Nestled in the Texas Hill Country along the Texas Wine Trail, we offer a scenic and private setting with both indoor and outdoor event spaces.
Where is the venue located?
We are located in Johnson City, TX, near Fredericksburg, TX, along the 290 Wine Trail, making it a perfect destination for a memorable event.
What is the venue’s capacity?
We can accommodate up to 150 guests for ceremonies and receptions.
What is included in the venue rental?
Our rental includes:
Exclusive access to the entire property the for your event
Indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces
Farm tables and chairs for indoor use
White chairs for outdoor ceremonies
10 round tables
Three eight foot tables
Three six foot tables
Private bridal suite with a half bath, drink station, mini-fridge, and four makeup stations
Food and beverage service area for caterers
Seven private cottages for overnight accommodations (up to 18 adults)
How long do we have access to the venue?
Access to the Legacy building is for the day of the event only.
Set up the day before the wedding may be available for events with two night accommodations
**Special arrangements can be discussed if needed for rehearsal dinner or morning brunch
Pricing & Booking
What is the cost to rent the venue?
Ranch buyout including the seven Cottages and Legacy Venue start at:
1 night accommodations - $8,500
2 night accommodations - $10,000​
How do I secure my date?
A signed contract and a deposit of 25% is required to secure your date.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Date Changes - every effort will be made to accommodate a new date as long as date is available
Date transfer due to Severe Illness Outbreak - Date change option will apply
Cancellations- In the event of a cancellation all payments are nonrefundable

Event Logistics
What time can we start setting up?
Setup time varies depending on your package. Early access may be available upon request.
Do you provide tables, and chairs?
Yes, tables and chairs are included. ​
Do you have getting-ready suites?
Yes, our private bridal suite is included in your rental.
No dedicated space for groom at this time, however one of the seven cottages
can be utilized for Grooms Room
Can we have our ceremony and reception at the venue?
Absolutely! We offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces,
with a seamless transition to your reception.
Is there a backup plan for bad weather?
Yes, we have an indoor space available for ceremonies in case of inclement weather.

Food & Beverage
Do you have an in-house caterer?
We do not provide in-house catering, but we have a list of preferred vendors. Outside caterers are also welcome.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes, but alcohol must be served by a TABC-certified bartender.
Is there a prep area for caterers?
Yes, we provide a designated food and beverage service area.
**We do not allow cooking in the Legacy building due to Fire Code**
Vendors & Decor
Can we use our own vendors?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your preferred vendors.
Are there any decor restrictions?
We do not allow open flames or anything that could damage the property. All decorations must be freestanding. Please check with us for specific restrictions.
**NO FIREWORKS**
Can we have live music or a DJ?
Yes, live music and DJs are allowed. All music must end by 11 PM

Accommodations & Guest Experience
Do you offer overnight accommodations?
Yes, we currently have seven private cottages on-site that can accommodate up to 18 adults total
Are there nearby hotels or lodging options?
Yes, Fredericksburg, Texas and Johnson City, Texas offer a variety of accommodations for additional guests. There are also many BNB's in the area
Is transportation provided or recommended?
We do not provide transportation but can recommend shuttle services for your guests.
What activities are nearby for guests?
Guests can enjoy wine tastings, hiking, parks, shopping, and exploring Fredericksburg and Johnson City's charming downtown.

Yes, we provide ample parking for guests.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, our venue is accessible for all guests.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed for ceremony only but must be leashed and supervised.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes, we require clients to obtain event insurance.
Do you have staff on-site during the event?
Yes, our team will be available to make sure your event runs smoothly.
